Ambulatory Surgery Center
The idea was to create a symbiosis between the site and the newly designed ASC building. The structure is zonally divided into a front of the house and a back of the house, allowing nature to flow through the building and offering a positive distraction for both visitors and users. The building features several semi-public/private platforms, giving visitors the opportunity to find their own corner where they feel safe. Public amenities and clinical services are located on the ground floor of the front section, while support functions are placed in the back. An interesting design aspect is the separation of the sterile processing department from the OR suite and clean core. At the front of the second floor are the PRE/PACU rooms. The idea was to keep the nurse station centralized to provide clear visual access to each patient room. Bridges connect the front and back of the house, where the operating rooms and staff areas are located. The building is clad with a glass façade and aluminum panels, while the interior features earthy and natural color palettes and materials such as wood and stone. The floor plan is designed to awaken users' curiosity and invite them to explore and engage with the space
